Cara, month 17 part two (including Baltimore days two and three)

Baltimore, day two (8/18/06)

Cara woke us up at 3:45 AM on day two! Here we are as dawn is breaking, on the outdoor tennis courts at our hotel. Note the large cups of coffee stuffed into the stroller.

At the harbor, Cara meets some ducks and narrowly avoids learning how to swim.

Our early morning journey brings us to Federal Hill. Up, up, up!

After that long climb in the early early morning, some of us were tired.

Cara had some time to kind of interact with other toddlers at Port Discovery.

It's the Mr. Rogers trolley!

After a little practice, Cara could operate the trolley without even looking. What a smart girl!

After Port Discovery and a nice nap on Daddy's lap, Cara explores the fountains by the inner harbor.

Baltimore, day three (8/19/06)

Cara had a better night's sleep the second night, and awoke ready to explore the hotel room. Here you can see our nice TV and the hotel crib Cara had to sleep in.

Cara enjoys the bathroom.

After this it was off to the Baltimore Zoo! Cara's experience with her first animal was a positive one.

Here we get personal with parakeets.

Cara and I find an ostrich.

And of course we couldn't pass up a single one of these photo ops. What a cute little puma cub!
