It's really still month 17, but the last page is just too long. On 9/2/06, I caught Cara standing in a toy basket. In the bottom righthand corner of the shot is what is probably her current favorite book.

On 9/4/06 (still not month 18!), we visited my parents and pictures were taken. Here Cara is sitting in a grown-up chair!

Daddy shows Cara a book. This happens very often, but we have few pictures to prove it.

On 9/10/06, Cara and Grandma and Mommy visited Deep Cut Park in Middletown.

On 9/16/06, Cara and Mommy and Aunt Claire went to Wheaton Village. Here, Cara shows herself to be rather uninterested with the glassblowing demonstration taking place behind her.

On 9/17/06, I took Cara down to my parents' for a fun-filled day. Here she is chowing down.

Cara shows her Eagles pride. While wearing this item, she traipsed along happily saying "hat! hat!" to herself.

Cara talks to her toys. I try to comfort Rusty, who was the object of much pursuit.

Cara's Grandma reading Cara a nice book. In fact, we all read her at least part of that book that day.

9/24/06 and we are back at my parents' house. Here Cara assumes a poignant expression while eating pineapple.

We are always reading to Cara; she loves it and so do we. Here I'm reading her the great little book Paddington Bear.

On 9/30/06, it was apple-picking day!

On 10/4/06, it was playdate night. Here is Cara showing her chocolate face while playing with what I believe to be an ashtray.

Cara, after many attempts, successfully climbed into a box. Then she tried to pick up a toy that was underneath it.
