The Poconos, 8/8-8/9/13

8/8/13, continued: This is one of my favorite photos from the trip.

Evelyn determinedly building a fire in our outside fireplace. It took a long time, but it was worth it since we all got to have toasted marshmallows.

George and Janet decided to hop in the hot tub one more time, and were treated to a light show.

At the end of our long, exciting Thursday, the kids are finally in their bunk bed.

8/9/13, our last full day at the house. This was Cara's second or third game of Monopoly. Here she is pointing to her token, so we will always remember that she was the car.

One last trip out on the canoe! We got back from a quick spin around the lake, just before it started really raining.

This tree was right next to the driveway of our house. When we saw it, we all knew there must be a beaver nearby.

The other side of the tree, so you can see that he worked all the way around.

On the last night, just after taking pictures of the tree, we finally caught sight of our beaver! This is the best picture we managed to get, but Grandpapa might have done better.
