July 2014 (Great Wolf Lodge)

7/6-7/7/14: George, Janet, Evelyn, me and the kids met at Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos for two days (and one night) of water park fun! (There was a lot of other stuff too, but most of the pictures got taken in the water park.)

This is the wave pool, which Cara liked to visit between trips to the various water slides and rides. Owen ended up there once or twice too.

Owen really loved the arcade. In the upper corner of this picture you can see his favorite ride from our previous visit, a little motorized ice cream truck. But he branched out this time and played a lot of other things. Bopping alien heads was also a lot of fun--he did it with gusto.

The indoor park is kept at 84 degrees or something, but it still can feel pretty chilly when the water hits your back in the morning!

The shallow part of the park was Owen's main hangout spot.

There were pleasant jets of water to play in...

Sometimes he would climb up the stairs and turn on some jets of wawter.
