Florida Trip (6/29/12-7/3/12)

Our summer trip to Florida, to see Grandma Anne and Aunt Nancy and Uncle Arnie!

6/29: Owen asleep in his seat on the plane.

6/30/12: The kids are already well settled in at Anne's house.

Owen meditates on the subtext of his Little Critter book. One of the things he learned to say on this trip was "Grandmama, can you read me a stoooooooooooorrrrrryyyy?"

Owen also spent a lot of time running circles around the house with these bubble wands.

Also on 6/30, here is a photo from my phone of Owen sampling the hats at the dollar store.

7/1/12, the requisite trip to Lion Country Safari! Owen unfortunately was more engrossed by the safari pamphlet than the actual safari.

This bird knew there was food in the dispenser. However, it was really fish food.

Here is Owen with a bird on his hat. Soon after this experience, I took him out of the lorikeet area, because he was screaming.

Of course we had to feed the giraffe!
