Moving west from Swan Lake, we find a suspicious candy house and a friendly tugboat. In the upper left corner, notice Little Red Riding Hood.

To orient you, Red Riding Hood from the previous picture is in the lower right quadrant. In the upper corner is Rapunzel in her tower. This is the part Ev put a little bit of paint on.

For the last section I did, I tried to do a hobbit village with lots of hobbit holes. That didn't work, so I did one hobbit hole and some windmills. Also notice the dragon in the upper right corner--the last touch.

Another shot of the hobbit realm (the Shire? Hobbiton?), and how it hooks up with Oz (see the poppy field at far right).

Here's a detail of some crops the hobbits are growing this year. On the right is the mill, now with its water wheel.

Now the "finished" room. Above and below pictures taken by my cousin Cheryl; the first shows the assembled crib and changing table, the second shows the dresser (with musical octopus on top).

That's it! I hope it can be an enjoyable living space for Carolyn, and a nice place for other people to come visit. Too bad we forgot to sign our names anywhere! But we put some real care into it. I won't get any sappier than that...
