Cara, month 30 (kind of)

Okay, chronologically this isn't going to make any sense, but I got some photos from late August that I just have to put here. Most of these were taken by the Loefflers. First we have a leftover shot from the 8/27/07 trip to the Philadelphia zoo, in which I thought there were some funny faces:

On 8/29/07, Cara had an outing to the mall with PJ. Here she is riding an airplane at the haircut place:

The following picture is an attempt to recreate a much earlier photo of the kids--see about 2/3 of the way down this page.

Later that same evening (according to the dates the camera stamps at the bottom of the photos), Cara and Loefflers and all went to have hibachi at Benihana. It may appear that we are successfully teaching Cara how to use chopsticks, but photos can be deceiving.

8/30/07, we all headed into Metuchen to see Mr. Ray, but ended up seeing mostly some other band instead. Here is Cara looking somewhat shell-shocked.

Even though it was not Mr. Ray, we managed to enjoy it.

Much later, on 9/23/07, Cara looks on while Daddy, Uncle Jim and Aunt Sarah try to simultaneously blow out individual birthday candles. It appears that I have no intention of blowing out the candle at all, but again: photos can be deceiving. Notice my very cool Genesis shirt.

9/29/07, Grandpa Jim nicely adds to our meagre collection of photos for this month by snapping this picture:

10/6/07, Grandpa Jim again provides some pictures for us. Cara here is wearing a T-shirt under her too-big, spaghetti-strap Princesses tanktop.

10/7/07 was babysitting day. We found to our amazement that the remote-controlled Pluto the Dog toy that has been residing at our house for months because PJ was deathly afraid of it, has now become a favorite:

It was, as always, an action-packed evening:

The kids in their winter gear, anticipating the huge snowstorm that is sure to hit us some time in the next three months or so.
