6/3/07, the Genzanos and Loefflers visit the Metuchen Fair! Our first stop was at a fire truck--neither PJ nor Cara was brave enough to enter, but they did get nice hats.

As Cara looks on, PJ attempts to draw.

The kids have fun with stools at a pleasantly-air-conditioned ice cream parlor.

The ice cream parlor also gave us the opportunity to add another to our growing list of head-through-the-hole photos.

Finally, Mommy was dedicated enough to wait in an interminable line to get her daughter to go on a big inflatable slide. Here is the ending of the first descent:

It may appear from the previous photo that neither child enjoyed the ride, but Cara was thrilled and quickly outpaced Mommy climbing up for the second ride:

As PJ and Ron watch (with some trepidation), Cara and her Mommy slide a second time!!

On the third and final slide, Evie was nice enough to help a scared little girl get down to the bottom:

6/13/07, I dressed Cara in a new shirt and skort and thought she looked very cute, so I took pictures. I asked her to smile and she managed to take her sippy cup away from her mouth long enough to make the face below. Strewn about her are the love seat cushions, which she likes to put on the floor.

Following are some bonus photos from Em and Ron's camera, which I didn't receive for a while and didn't get on the web until even later, so some of them are chronologically in the wrong place. Sorry! We begin as long ago as 5/12/07! Cara was playing with PJ's Thomas trains.

5/27/07, I don't remember what was even happening, but Cara looks cute, and so does her mommy.

A better shot than previously seen of Cara in her firefighter hat, from the day of the fair.

A bonus shot of everyone going down the slide--I didn't have a good shot of this one.

Cara playing tee-ball! She had a strange idea of how the bat had to be held...

Going in the pool!
