Though technically week 3 began on the morning of 4/21, here are some pictures Dad took on Mom's birthday, 4/20:

Cara with her Great Aunt Sally and Great Uncle Ron.

Awww. Babyface.

Below: Cara in her Kick & Play bouncer, the morning of 4/21/05. It was this morning that Cara inadvertantly set off the sound effects all by herself by stomping her feet. Unfortunately the reason she was stomping was because she was unhappy, so it wasn't a particularly joyous occasion for her, but we found it very amusing.

From 4/23, here's a nice big shot of Cara in her Pack 'n Play (play yard). This is the "bassinet" configuration, but when she gets bigger and more active we can take out the higher level and have her play around on the bottom part. Notice the swivelling bears hanging over the yard. Also notice the light and sound controls, located at the far right of the picture clipped onto the side rail of the yard. These baby pictures also happen to show the interior of our home quite nicely--you can see my staggering collection of Genesis CDs and part of my stereo in the background of this picture.

Aww, a sleepy baby in her play yard: "just like a little cashew," says Evelyn.

Cara's first passover (4/24/05)! Pictures by George.

Four generations of the family!

Great Aunt Theresa holds baby Cara while Aunt Claire pokes her.

The following pics are from 4/25/05, when the parents dropped by for a visit and Dad brought his camera.

I like all the pictures where I'm holding Cara, and she even has her eyes open in this one.

Playing with baby; notice baby's "sound and motion jungle gym," which we're ignoring in favor of a waving wash cloth.

"What's that? I'm being filmed?!"

4/26/05: I bottle feed Cara for the first time. Following are just four of the many pictures Ev took of the event. I have reordered them so that you keep getting closer and closer to Cara...
