10/10/06: Em probably captured this shot of Cara at Susan's house, preparing for a shopping expedition.

10/11/06: our new digital camera arrived and I tried it out for the first time:

10/12/06: Cara at Susan's house. She has found Casey's infant carrier, but where is the baby?

10/13/06: George tries out our new camera. Our beautiful daughter poses for this keyboard shot.

Climbing/scooting:

10/15/06: Let's all go to the zoo!! The Philadelphia Zoo, that is. It's hard to see in this shot, but the bird Cara is looking at has a stuffed animal in its beak.

Cara encounters a peacock (one of many at the zoo). Neither were harmed.

Lunch; notice on the table you can see the shells of Cara's hot dog nuggets, and behind her the swan boats.

At the treehouse, Cara enters a tunnel.

Cara is blissfully reunited with Mr. Caterpillar.

You need to know that in this shot Cara is sitting in a dinosaur footprint, which may begin to explain why she is laughing maniacally.

10/16/06: Cara has been feeding herself yogurt. Does it show?

10/21/06: Cara gets onto the table and decides our sugar is in the wrong container.

Later that same day, it was time for a hayride!

Cara looks for the best pumpkin.

Cara tries to help by putting a label from a flower pot into our chosen pumpkin.

Cara found a nice metal stand that she decided to tote around.

10/30/06: pre-Halloween pictures. Look out, mad bunny!

A crazy bunny frolics in the bay window.

In an attempt to eliminate at least some of the sagginess, I roll up Cara's sleeves.

It's time to wake up Buster! Notice the two tails visible in this picture.

Cara is given her bear head.

Cara is unwittingly on a Halloween dry-run. Unfortunately, Shelby the Cat had no candy to give her.
