On 3/8/06, Cara was just 11 months and my parents came to show her a good time. Below she shows how much bigger she has gotten--she fills out the swing like she's supposed to, and her head doesn't fit in that hat!

Now inside, Cara plays with the balls from her ball popper:

Here's the wind-up! But fortunately Cara is not lobbing things yet.

On 3/11/06, Cara's grandparents came and we went to Johnson Park. It was the first nice warm day in a while and we all had a great time. A couple pictures were taken of the family, and though in this one I am not really looking at the camera, the baby looks okay.

Baby in the air!

Now we step back in time for a moment, to 3/8/06, for some pictures from Cara's playdate with PJ:

And now, a story in pictures.

1. Cara sees PJ enjoying a drink from his sippy cup.

2. Cara decides that she would also like to enjoy a drink from PJ's sippy cup.
3. Cara successfully wrests said sippy cup from PJ's grasp.

4. PJ wants his cup back.

3/14/06: Cara decides to climb onto the keyboard and into the bay window. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

On 3/19/06, Cara visited her grandparents and played with her animal puzzle toy thingie. I'm not sure, but I think that's a bunny she's waving.

Almost all of the pictures I put up here nowadays are ones taken by other people; here are some my parents took when they were hanging out with baby on 3/22/06. First, a nice pair of portraits:

Cara at one of her favorite places (she loves messing with the head of that toy frog, which can be pounded down into the blue tube):

3/25/06: Cara, with her Mommy, waves to me from the stairs.

On 4/1/06, I snapped some photos of the baby just because she's so darn cute.

On 4/2/06, Cara visited her grandparents and received some early birthday presents, but below Cara can be seen using her Mommy's birthday present:

4/4/06: Cara gets a big stick coated in chocolate. Is this a good idea?
