2/12/06 was a big day for snow, and though it was not Cara's first meeting with the stuff, it was one of her first chances to understand and play in it. Mostly though she doesn't seem to have been that interested.

Before venturing out, the whole family took a look outside. The cats spent a lot of time looking outside, because the full birdfeeder in the front yard attracted many varieties of birds.

Cara in the snow:

Later in the evening, Cara was very happy playing with her truck. She'd like everyone to know that no one was hurt in this crash:

6/13/06: Look out! Cara is coming!!

As Evelyn points out, Cara has not often had the opportunity in her life to "loom". Now is her chance:

A day early, Cara extends a Valentine's Day greeting to all journal viewers:

Still on 2/13/06--well you know, we hadn't put up new pictures in a while, and we were stuck inside after a blizzard, so the camera got a workout. Here is Cara driving her car: she's getting quite good at it.

This photo is our first photo with the installed baby gate in view:

2/16/06, Cara has had her bath and needs to dry off. Here, she is making a variation on her "little meanie" face, a typical expression of joy at this time.

Here, Cara has escaped and is running wild in nothing but her towel! Don't worry, there's nothing here that they couldn't show late at night on TV:

2/24/06, Cara is all dressed up and ready to go out to PJ's birthday party:

2/25/06, Cara in another nice outfit waves an empty bottle. Notice behind her you can see one of the many objects that constantly end up under our couch.

"I found the keys!"

Later on 2/25/06, at her grandparents' house, Cara finally poses nicely:

It seems that whenever the family is stuck in the house for most of the day on the weekend, many photos result. 3/5/06 (a Sunday) was no exception. We begin with Cara and Shelby's epic battle over possession of a balloon:

Now Cara has moved on from the balloon and is using her fairly new walker toy. In the distance is her other fairly new toy, the ball popper:

To round up the 3/5/06 pictures, here I am giving Cara a ride in her laundry basket. We had about run out of steam at this point:
