Cara on Thanksgiving (11/24/05)! In this first photo, Cara plays with giant Legos for the first time:

Later on the day, Cara gnaws on the cord of her phone toy (which we think she figured out how to ring--too bad it's a rotary phone!!):

On 11/25/05, the day after Thanksgiving, Cara amuses herself by emptying her toy basket:

On 12/3/05, my parents visited and got some nice shots of the baby. Here she is with her shapes:

A nice photo portrait of Cara, wielding a block from her shape sorter toy (the legs are mine):

And, below, photo evidence that Cara does indeed stick her foot in her mouth:

On 12/4/05, we dressed Cara up and she proved once again that she's just darling.

After she got out of her dress, Cara decided to unwind by pursuing her new hobby:

All right, technically these next two are out of chronological order, but since I just got them now they go at the bottom; from 11/30/05 (I think), Cara gets to see these monk guys doing a cooool sand painting (the pictures come from George's camera phone):

On 12/10/05, Cara visited her Uncle Jim and Aunt Sarah's place, and was held by several people, including her Great Aunt Sally.

On 12/11/05, Daddy takes a break from a painting project to commune with Cara. Hijinks ensue.

Below, Cara in her cute hat (I like to think she has a Phil Collins thing going on):

Finally we come to the real holiday pics! These first two are from Christmas Eve, with Ev's family:

<gasp> Somebody left a baby under the tree!

Now some pictures from Christmas Day, at my parents' house. Here's Cara with her new radio toy:

Cara with her new crazy hat!

Cara plays with her new keys, while Daddy looks on.

Cara on her new car!

Cara on the car with her Mommy nearby.

When baby got home on Christmas, it was bath time. The next four shots are baby in the tub with her Daddy holding her, while Mommy takes pictures and baby enjoys her new bath toys.

Below, Cara is decked out in her nice poncho during the Hanukkah celebrations (12/29/05).

To close out this marathon photos page, a few from New Year's. Both main photos are with Cara's mouth open in happiness. The first is from 12/31/05 and is followed immediately by a detail in which you can just see Cara's first two teeth peeking out. The last picture is from 1/1/06, Cara ringing in the new year, and gives you an idea of how much baby enjoys watching her zebra puppets movie.
