Cara, month 5

Here are some pictures of Cara playing cards with her Grandma, from 8/13/05; she also has a nice stacking-ring toy that she was fiddling with:

Cara in her bouncer on 8/20/05: proof that she can hold her bottle! She just needs a little help to get it in her mouth at the right angle.

This may be my new favorite picture of Cara.

Note her toy, which is a detachable piece of her exersaucer.

On 8/27/05, Cara plays with her popper after a nice bath:

What a smart baby! She can hold her popper. I remember when the hood on her towel would totally cover her face. Later on 8/27, daddy had a great bottle battle with baby. Why is it that in all the pictures where I'm feeding the baby, I look like Bob Dylan on a bad day, when he's just gotten out of bed? Anyway, the important thing in this picture is that Cara wants to and can hold her bottle:
