Lots of photos here, so this page will take a while to load!

Here are the earliest photos of Cara, when she was only a matter of minutes out of the womb.

On oxygen, poor baby.

These are taken in the nursery of the OB triage ward; Cara was kept there for a while before they thought it was safe enough to wheel her into Ev's room.

Cara at her first weigh-in; you can see the number says 5 pounds, 14.9 ounces, which rounded up to 15.

The examining nurse holds up Cara so I can take another picture.

Ev and the baby reunited.

Cara in her first hat.

Here's a very early picture of Cara in my arms, on day one. From my dad's camera (as are the next few).

People grabbing at Cara--soon to be a regular occurrence.

People were telling me I looked exhausted--not having a mirror nearby, I thought I was fine.

My mother fiddles with the baby.

Dad loves holding the baby! It seems strange to me for some reason, but he does.

One set of happy grandparents.

Sleepy baby.

Here are some from day one with Cara's other set of grandparents, and her Aunt Claire:
